Inspired by GreenKayak, an NGO that engages volunteers across Europe in the fight against environmental pollution while kayaking, eight IQVIANs recently paddled across Berlin on the river Spree to fish plastic and other garbage from the waters.

Jens Reiher, Principal Statistical Programmer, shared, “Considering we are all home-based employees, it was a good opportunity to meet in person and spend this ecological day together. It was a great experience.”

Jens and his co-workers took advantage of our IQVIA Day program which enables employees to take one paid business day off at any time during the year to volunteer with a charitable, not-for-profit organization of their choice.
