Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager, Data Analytics to support and drive implementation of key strategic business initiatives across the Medical Affairs businesses.

Job Summary

Provide subject matter expertise and a high level of expertise on reporting solutions, KPIs or services support on data analytics projects related to complex business problems and issues, to ultimately provide insight to decision makers.

Be responsible for leading data analytics projects as well as regular KPI production.

An exciting role as an individual contributor - no people leadership required.

A typical day:

  • Develop and implement data analytics strategies to support business goals.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing best practices in data management.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data analytics.

The Manager, Data Analytics reports to the Director of Strategic Operations and supports the development of the data and analytics requirements in line with the strategic plans for IQVIA Medical Affairs group.

The ideal candidate

Success in this role means leading the analytics team, developing data-driven strategies, and providing actionable insights to support business objectives.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a business analytics or data analysis role.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in Macros VBA. 
  • Experience in PowerBI.
  • Experience in Smartsheet.
