Job description
Position Overview
The candidate will be responsible to perform operations for Patient Financial Programs. Responsibilities include activities such as performing hospital visits, patient face-to-face meetings, maintaining patients information, arranging educational sessions, and reporting adverse events. The candidate will take management responsibility for timely follow-up with patients and for the flawless implementation of all IQVIA’s patient support program.
Key responsibilities
Providing primarily face-to-face coaching meetings for enrolled patients supported under the program for critical diseases such as cancer and multiple sclerosis.
Patients’ meetings could be outside Cairo in different Egypt governorates. Contacts and performs initial meetings with patients who are eligible for health coaching programs during weekly field visits.
Visiting Hospitals weekly to recruit new patients in targeted therapeutic areas, once referred by their HCPs.
Provides instructions to patient related to healthier way of life.
Provides necessary coaching to reduce or eliminate behaviors that are considered high-risk.
Creates and distributes health education materials such as brochures to patients.
Hands and educating patients on treatment related devices that facilitate treating process.
Submits all patients’ complaints weather adverse event or quality complaints accompanied by assigned products of the program.
Develops care plans that are custom-tailored to individual patients.
Timely and accurate responds to patient needs and inquiries, ensuring assistance within the required approved script.
Skills & Experience required
Experience in the pharmaceutical market access industry.
Strong understanding of patient affordability programs in the life science industry.
Excellent knowledge of the regulatory bodies structure, function and requirements.
Strong customer service attitude.
Demonstrates competent project management skills with proven time management and personal organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple programs in a timely and efficient manner.
Good team-based interpersonal skills but also an ability to work independently. Energetic, dynamic, and self-driven individual with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, communicating well with patients, HCPs, NGOs and regulatory authorities.
Strong academic track record including minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or equivalent (a Masters degree is valued but is not essential). Fluency in English/Arabic.
