Real World Evidence Analyst
Job description
The department Real World & Analytics Solutions in the Nordics is a multidisciplinary consulting team serving life science and healthcare stakeholders with insights and advice. In Real World Solutions we aim to serve Nordic pharma companies and other stakeholders with Nordic treatment insights based on real world data and Real World Evidence studies. We actively collaborate with hospitals, regional payers and national registries on research and policy related topics.
As an Analyst focusing on Real World Solutions you will work on interesting projects for Nordic clients. Analysts are responsible for supporting and delivering project work with guidance from senior colleagues, and be willing to learn and develop professionally and personally. Your analytical, inter-personal and project management skills will be called upon from day one.
Every project will be different but an idea of the things that you are expected to accomplish are the following:
- Assist in conducting thorough qualitative and quantitative research (for both scientific and non-scientific focused projects)
- Write and/or review data access applications to Nordic health data authorities (e.g. patient-level data, aggregate data requests)
- Under supervision manage patient level data according to standard procedures
- Under supervision apply statistical analysis to collected primary and secondary data
- Reach out and liaise with potential sites (e.g. hospitals, data holders) and stakeholders such as KOLs, Payers, Clients etc; for set up of contracts, project meetings, confidentiality agreements and applications
- May perform CRA Site Management visits
- Conduct interviews with local stakeholders as well as patients
- Create well-structured, client-facing deliverables and communicate insights
- Stay up to date on the national health data access landscape in your country
- Contribute to proposal development
- With support, serve as project manager on small client engagements
- Engagement based responsibilities are assigned and closely managed by Consultants, Senior Consultants, Engagement Managers or Principals.
About you
- Candidates interested in joining as a RWS Analyst should have:
- PhD in Life-Science or other relevant scientific subject with experience in life science
- MSc (or equivalent) combined with 1-3 years of working experience in life science
- Experienced and comfortable with statistical analysis in R and/or SAS or similar statistical software
- Understanding processes of local healthcare system, their interaction, and the impact of external/internal influences on decision making
- Excellent communication skills in English and Danish, living in Copenhagen
- Good and comfortable at structuring information in a logical way
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others across the Nordic countries and with global excellence centers
- Adaptability and an ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge
Nice To Have
- Previous experience with Nordic registry data and submitting data access applications
- Working experience with Real-World Data in the Nordics (or equivalent experience)
- High digital affinity and MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel) skills are an advantage
