Job Title: Associate Director of International Project Costings
Job Overview: This position is a new role within the Commercial Engagement Solutions International team, playing a critical role in sales support by developing and producing project budgets for our international contract service organisation business. The Business Development and operational teams have grown significantly, necessitating additional support to meet existing and future growth commitments. Our new team member will work closely with the Contracts and Proposals Manager to ensure accurate and timely responses to proposals and contracts for both new and existing clients.
Essential Functions:
- Produce and adapt project costings for international multi-country business.
- Collaborate to produce proposals and costs for client contracts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer expectations.
- Communicate with the Business Development, Talent Acquisition, Finance and Operational teams to understand project requirements and deliver cost-effective solutions aligned with customer expectations and timelines.
- Work closely with the Contracts and Proposals Manager to manage the day-to-day contract, proposal, and other designated processes for large complex contracts.
- Act as a regional expert on project costings & budgets, and other designated processes, ensuring consistency in approach, metrics, and format.
- Identify discrepancies and interact with customers to resolve issues.
- Develop and implement processes to increase customer satisfaction and create efficiencies while maintaining consistency among all teams.
- Contribute to discussions on the implementation of Contracts and Proposals strategy on a global basis and implement objectives as appropriate.
- Ensure a consistent understanding and positive impression of business strategy for regional and global objectives.
- Taking financial responsibility and accountability for project costings monitoring growth and performance as required.
- Develop long-standing relationships with IQVIA customers supporting bid defense strategy and planning.
- Drive quality outputs and improve proposal, budgeting, and contracting standards, ensuring compliance.
- Identify opportunities for change, lead change initiatives, and promote the benefits of change.
- Provide advice, support, guidance, and training as needed, and serve as a mentor to colleagues.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a headcount orientated project budgeting role.
- Ideally experienced in working in a CSO environment.
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent knowledge of contract, proposals, and budget processes, and the ability to interpret budgets and protocols.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and customers.
