Role:

The Associate Account Director is the senior leader responsible for driving the growth, retention, and overall success of a portfolio of high-value client relationships. Acting as the strategic partner and escalation point for Account Managers, the AD ensures that client needs are met with proactive solutions, data-driven insights, and a structured approach to account management. The AD works closely with internal stakeholders—Sales, Product, Trading, and Leadership—to align business priorities, identify expansion opportunities, and optimize platform usage to drive long-term revenue.​

The Technical Account Management team will work post-sale to execute programmatic, social, and email campaigns, and ensure our clients are wildly successful on the marketing initiatives they’re running across the operating system.

Associate Account Director Responsibilities:

• Manage, coach, grow and retain top talent
 • Oversee the execution of strategic client engagements, ensuring  product and servicing is solving for the technical challenges and business needs of clients
 • Lead the development of media strategies and analysis across all Programmatic media, social channels, and email deployments
 • Act as top domain expert in the programmatic and digital advertising ecosystem
 • Serve as the main point person for senior client relationships; both existing and prospective, leveraging thought leadership and innovative points of view to strengthen client relationships and develop further business opportunities
 • Lead assigned team to prioritize and delegate tasks as needed in the areas of programmatic/social/email planning, campaign setup, QA, pacing, optimization, targeting, and measurement
 • Organize team workload to align against strategic objectives
 • Continuously refine processes to "solve for time" across assigned TAM's
 • Act as the liaison between clients asks/challenges and our Product organization, understanding the "why" behind the question and working with internal teams to develop a smarter, faster, and more actionable planning, activation and measurement platform.
 • Act as main POC for Sales team, ensuring operational success and campaign objectives are exceeded

Associate Director Requirements 

Must Have:

•7 years of related experience
• Knowledge of digital media buying and/or hands-on experience with programmatic buying platforms
• Experience managing. and optimizing programmatic campaigns
• Knowledge of agency media planning process, including how programmatic fits alongside social, email and TV
• Experience building client relationships and growing a book of business against a revenue target
• History of coaching and managing high performing team of Account Managers
• Proficiency in breaking down complex technical problems into business solutions
• Strong analytical skills to draw insights from large datasets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams
• Passion for working in a space that sits at the intersection of healthcare and technology

Preferred:
• Knowledge of paid search and social campaigns across Google Ads and Facebook
• Familiarity with ad serving platforms (Google Ad Manager, Sizmek, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Science, Technology or Marketing field
• Knowledge of SQL

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $79,600.00 - $221,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
