Job description

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Director, BI, Data Services, Reporting and Analytics to spearhead the development of a high-performing BI team. This role will focus on building and managing a team of data experts to design and implement DataMarts that integrate both structured and unstructured data sources. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering BI solutions, strong leadership capabilities, and familiarity with AI-driven analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Build, mentor, and lead a team of BI professionals and data engineers.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • BI Strategy & Delivery
    • Define and execute the BI roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
    • Oversee the design and implementation of scalable DataMarts and data models.
    • Ensure data governance, quality, and security standards are met.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Drive integration of structured and unstructured data sources into BI solutions.
    • Leverage advanced analytics and AI tools to enhance insights and decision-making.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable dashboards and reports.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Partner with business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
    • Communicate complex data insights in a clear, business-friendly manner.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related fields.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in building and managing BI teams.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
    • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and DataMart design.
    • Familiarity with AI/ML solutions and their application in BI.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
  • Strong understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $118,100.00 - $328,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
