Job description

Responsibilities:

Territory 80% Klang Valley/20% East Coast including Sabah Sarawak

Key Account Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Identify and understand the unique needs and challenges of key clients.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Business Development:

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify business development opportunities within key accounts.
  • Work towards achieving sales targets and business objectives.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about the company's pharmaceutical products and services.
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge to key accounts and address any inquiries.

Market Analysis:

  • Monitor industry trends and market conditions relevant to pharmaceutical products.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential growth areas and competitors.

Negotiation and Contract Management:

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with key accounts to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Manage contract renewals and modifications as needed.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with relevant pharmaceutical regulations and industry standards.

Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements affecting key accounts.

Reporting:

Prepare regular reports on key account performance, market trends, and sales forecasts.

Present findings to the management team and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life-Sciences is preferred or Marketing / Other related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ (for Exec level) / 6 years’ (for Manager level) experience in pharmaceutical sales or key account management.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Negotiation and contract management abilities.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Familiarity with relevant pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards.
