We are excited to announce an amazing opportunity for a Financial Accounting Analyst!
As a Financial Accounting Analyst you will provide independent high level technical and general accounting services in accordance with IQVIA Finance Standard Procedures, US GAAP and Local financial reporting requirements including also tax rules of the business unit. This role is based in Prague and this is a hybrid role.
Essential Functions
• Support month end process and reconciliations within deadlines and instructions.
• Ensure that accounting records are thoroughly maintained in line with Local GAAP and statutory requirements
• Ensure that all processes and decisions are in line with IQVIA policies and local legal requirements.
• Where applicable, ensure appropriate communication with all business partners
• Provide recommendations to improve existing processes and financial systems and suggest alternatives where appropriate.
• Maintain a solid working knowledge of technical accounting skills, AP process, GL postings, T&E
• Execute regular payment runs in time and accurately
• Participate in or manage Finance related projects as needed.
• Manage timely completion of detailed accounts reconciliation and follow-up/resolving open items for specified tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master Degree in Finance area
• 3 years’ experience in accounting or Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Local Language CZ/SK knowledge and Fluency in English is required
• Good IT/excel skills, SAP and finance systems such as blackline, Concur is an advantage.
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Technical accounting skills.
• Good analytical and numeracy skills.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
• Experience of working within regional teams in a matrix environment is advantageous.
• Proactively sign any identified financial issues, and support to execute mitigating actions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
