Job Overview

IQVIA provides scientific services spanning clinical trials, real world evidence, and consulting in all areas of the product lifecycle. The Patient Centered Solutions (PCS) team leads the industry in generating data to ensure that the patient voice is incorporated into the development and commercialization of medication and other drug/non-drug interventions. We focus on understanding and meeting the needs of our clients – mostly life science/pharmaceutical companies – through the application of broad consulting expertise and technical scientific knowledge to conduct scientifically rigorous research. This research is broad and includes qualitative (e.g., interviews, focus groups), quantitative (e.g., clinical outcome assessments (COAs), preference research) and passive (e.g., digital health technology tools) approaches to understand patient, caregiver and healthcare professional experiences and expectations of disease and treatment.

The Specialist, Licensing & Distribution role is an operational position for which the core business is to obtain license agreement of COAs on behalf of Sponsors.

Essential Functions
• Establish and maintain all project documentation including all files, records, and reports according to the scope of work and
standard operating procedures (SOPs).;
• Assist with periodic review/audit of files for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate and track all information, communications, documents, materials, and supplies for assigned projects.
• Update and maintain internal systems, databases, tracking tools, timelines, and project plans with project specific information.
• Identify and escalate discrepancies in project tracking data, timesheet coding, expense data billing, interpretation of financial
figures which may lead to identification of out of scope activities not previously reported.;
• Prepare and distribute status, tracking and project finance reports, and assist the project manager(s) with budget allocation
and approval of invoices.;
• Prepare presentation materials for meetings (internal/external) and project summary data.
• Coordinate project team and/or customer meetings including logistics and materials required.
• Coordinate with other project support staff within and outside the Clinical Project Management Unit to identify and consolidate
support processes.;
• Will serve as primary backup contact for internal project team and for external stakeholders/customers as designated by
project manager.;
• Will undertake project management activities as directed by project manager.
• Train and mentor more junior project support staff.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in life sciences or other related field required Req
• Typically requires 0 - 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Requires knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts of a job area, typically obtained through advanced education.
• 1 year’s relevant experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Results and detail-oriented approach to work delivery and output.
• Good planning, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Strong software and computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.;
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
