Job description

As a Sr. Director, Offering Development, you will collaborate with key internal stakeholders to define market offerings for the business unit.  This role will involve developing promotional materials that ensure competitive differentiation, supporting business development activities, and executing marketing campaigns and will have a focus on the Cardiovascular (CV) market.  You will maintain an advanced technical understanding of the service offerings, working closely with internal stakeholders to help customers grasp the technical aspects and provide best practice advice and solutions throughout sales cycle. 

Additionally, you will identify and leverage expertise across IQVIA to define best in class solutions. Initially, this position will have responsibility to secure key CV market companies and develop long term contracts and agreements. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with key IQVIA stakeholders and external partners to develop competitive, differentiated, and relevant offerings that address prioritized opportunities and gaps.
  • A strong understanding of the current cardiovascular market and with skills and knowledge specific to CV. 
  • Develop marketplace analysis that monitors trends and helps quantify the most promising opportunity areas.
  • Work across company's service lines to cross-promote and develop internal relationships needed to create solutions designed using multiple services.  Facilitate marketing and strategic links amongst company business lines.
  • Maintain an advanced understanding of business unit service offerings and provide “best practice” advice and solutions throughout sales cycle.
  • Develop marketing support materials and campaigns to promote the offerings.
  • Identify and provide strategic information to support the business unit’s annual plans.
  • Actively participate in proposal preparation meetings and/or proposal defense meetings as needed.
  • Research and identify target markets, build relationships with internal stakeholders, perform in-depth presentations, strategic analysis, and execution of implemented plans for the business unit.
  • Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations.  Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems. Approve actions on human resources matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 15+ years relevant experience within the pharmaceutical industry or agency environment with 4 year’s management experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of bio-pharmaceutical industry.
  • Exceptional leadership, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Strong team player with high level of stress tolerance.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing global teams in a matrixed, multi-regional organization delivering global initiatives.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Strategic business and industry awareness and the ability to translate emerging industry trends relevant to the organization.
  • Highly experienced in dealing with complex and day to day employment scenarios.
  • Ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment maintaining flexibility and changing priorities to meeting demanding timelines.
  • Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and articulate recommendations and solutions based on this analysis.
  • Strong organizational, planning, project management and logistics skills.
  • Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $162,300.00 - $301,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
