You found your dream job. Nailed the interview. And are ready to join the IQVIA team. What happens next?   

As you prepare to embark on an exciting new chapter in your career, we want you to feel inspired, connected and enabled to do great work. That’s why we’ve designed a five-step IQVIA onboarding experience that not only sets you up to do extraordinary things for our customers and partners, but helps you seamlessly adapt to your role, your department, and our collaborative culture. 

From our IQVIA onboarding app to our buddy program to learning technologies, we’re sharing steps you’ll experience along your onboarding journey at IQVIA.

Step 1 - Connect and prepare for Day 1

During the “Get Ready” phase, you will have the opportunity to connect with your future manager, who will provide important information about your first day. This is an opportunity to discuss any questions you might have to ensure you feel confident and prepared.

Step 2 - Meet the team and set up the essentials

During your first week, you will have the opportunity to meet your peers. You will also meet your onboarding partner – a colleague assigned to help you navigate your first weeks at IQVIA. During this phase, we’ll also help you set up essential tools, technologies and other resources that’ll drive your success. 

Step 3 - Discover IQVIA, your department and role 

As you embark on your journey with us, you will have the opportunity to utilize the IQVIA onboarding app which will serve as your comprehensive guide through each step of the onboarding process. This platform is designed to facilitate your connection with our company and culture, while enabling your professional growth. Throughout the "learn" phase, the app's content will provide valuable insights to help you grasp the bigger picture, setting you up for success in your new role.

Step 4 - Build your brand and internal network

We bring out the best in each other and have greater impact when we leverage each other’s skills and experiences which is why collaboration is deeply ingrained into the IQVIA culture. These connections are not only crucial for our professional success but make an impact on our overall well-being too.

During the "Connect" phase of your onboarding journey, we empower you to build your personal brand while forging meaningful relationships with colleagues across various teams. To support your networking efforts, your manager and onboarding partner will facilitate introductions to key employees, enabling you to expand your internal network. We strongly encourage you to engage with one of our Employee Resource Groups, as they provide opportunities to gain diverse perspectives and truly become an integral part of our passionate community.

Step 5 - Maximize your career
